A Faversham man has been jailed for three years after robbing a pizza delivery man and boasting about it on social media.
Reece Thomas, from Preston Street, Faversham punched and kicked the delivery man before stealing the pizza and his baseball cap.
The convicted 21-year-old posted a photo on social media wearing the cap captioning it ‘Free pizza for me tonight’.
Police saw Thomas while on patrol in Faversham, he pulled a seven-inch blade knife from his trousers before running and barricading himself into a dead-end.
After a 45 minute chase, Thomas handed himself in, then arrested and charged with robbery, affray, and possession of a knife in a public place.
He was sentenced 40 months in youth offenders institute and ordered to pay a £170 victim surcharge.
